„Officer Roseland“ treiben mit der Promotion für ihr neues Album alles bisher Dagewesene auf die Spitze: Sie bezahlen ihre Fans, dass sie sich das Album runterladen. Und zwar einen Dollar! Der geht wahlweise in die eigene Kasse oder wird von der Band gespendet. Wohlgemerkt dafür, dass man sich ein Album kostenlos runterlädt. Leider sagen sie nicht, woher sie das Geld haben um die Downloads zu bezahlen. Aber der Plan ist genauso absurd genial wie verzweifelt. Die Band schreit: Wir kaufen Euch und eure Aufmerksamkeit. Und ich frage mich: Was überlegen sich Bands als nächstes um ein Stückchen vom Netz-Hype abzubekommen?
